Baked Cumin Feta with a Balsamic Glaze
This could be a great starter or just a fantastic dish to have alongside pitta bread, salads etc.
It takes 20mins to do.
RECIPE BELOW:
Place feta on a double lined piece of foil & cover with the onion & cumin seeds. Add the splash of wine & drizzle with the balsamic glaze. Fold up into a parcel and bake in the oven at 180C for 15-20mins. Eat.
Alternatively, cover the cheese with some chopped peppers (again briefly softened first), thyme/marjoram, and olive oil before baking, for a more mediterranean vibe. It would also be great with tomatoes, finely sliced fennel & crushed red chilli. It's defintely worth trying out a few possibilities next time you have some feta in the house.
