Bavaria Wit 0% Wheat Beer
Bavaria Wit, 0% Wheat Beer
Widely available now, with a dubious advertising campaign to back it up, this is actually not bad at all. Like most alcohol free beers, it is quite thin, but it's refreshing. With a slice of lemon in it, it's worth a punt. It's not as good as a real Wheat Beer, but is a decent stab at it.
The other Bavaria 0% beer, "The Bavaria Malt 0%" is less impressive. It's drinkable, but lacking generally. It's fizzy water with hops, malt & barley added. Stick with the Wit Beer...
A lot of alcohol-free beers are widely available, for other more obscure ones I found these stockists:
http://www.alcoholfree.co.uk/
http://www.utobeer.co.uk/
For reviews of many other alcohol free drinks, ciders, wines etc. I found this:
